Sunday, July 4, 2004 Christy and Jody stayed at their home in Cold Spring and shuttled back and forth each morning and evening.

Here they’re followed over the Bear Mountain Bridge by Pam Nelson and other house guests.

Breakfast in the lovely Thayer Hotel.

Everyone finds a table and tucks away a big meal.

Doh-nuts! Actually, they look rather untouched.

Fuel for a long day of riding: sausages, ham, bacon, eggs . . .

. . . homefries, sticky buns, french toast. Plenty of food!

With breakfast over, riders congregate outside the Thayer.

Groups meet up.

Christy’s ready to go.

He’s not the only one. Riders chomping at the bit wait out in the middle of the road.
