We are back again in Big Sky Country, Montana.

Arriving at the heart of Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

It’s all uphill from here as we climbed our way up to Chief Mountain.

In the distance looms Chief Mountain. For thousand of years the Blackfeet tribe have held sacred ceremonies here, and they continue to do so today. They revered this mountain as home to the spirits. Many of them still visit this sacred place to hold vision quests.

Taking a break from a long climb to the summit. Had some snacks and refilled our water bottles from the Trek Travel van.

A photo with Amy (one of our guides at Trek Travel) at Chief Mountain. She is one of the best climbers I have ever seen and can put everyone to shame on any mountain passes.

What goes up must come down. We had an ear popping 45+ mph steep descent after reaching the summit of Chief Mountain. It’s mostly downhill from here as we head for Many Glaciers Park.

Arriving at Many Glaciers Park.
