DAY TWO
July 2, La Salle Mountain Trail

85 miles

Joe checks his bike before we start, as we slowly adjust to the altitude of 9,465 feet at the beginning of the La Salle Mountain Trail.

It's our 2nd ride and here we go again, more suffering, more climbing.

Taking a break to snap photos of the scenery. The locals taught us how to pump water from the natural spring water near the wild flower beds.

Our return from the trail. Here Joe returns from the La Salle Mountain Trail. The return was faster because it was all downhill for 60+ miles.
