At the Thornwood Diner the group settled into the serious business of refueling and socializing.

Got enough ketchup there Jody? Hey, it contains electrolytes, right?

Later on Christy plopped down at the other end of the table and worked his charm on Marci.

The wait staff snuck up with a piece of cake adorned with candles and everybody sang "Happy Birthday."

The cake got passed around the table for everyone to have a taste. B-SIG leader, Tom Denham, still slumming with the big boys, took a portion.

Eventually it's time to go. Hector Roman managed collecting the money for the bill.

Christy and Jody rode on to Cold Spring so they said goodbye outside. Have we all heard enough about Christy's new bicycle?

Nah. The bicycle drew more worship before the Manhattan-bound group wheeled away. It had started raining and the ride back to Manhattan proved rather wet, but hey, that's part of cycling.
