Memorial Day Weekend 2006. The NYCC conducts its annual invasion of the Berkshire Hills. Here are some highlights courtesy of club members Tom Laskey, Fred Steinberg and Ed White.

Friday: After getting drenched by a downpour on the ride up and with their bags still in transit, a group of NYCCers decide to chill out over wine and cheese at the venerable Staveleigh Inn.

Saturday: The various groups assemble in the So. Berkshires High School parking lot.

Jeanine Hartnett engages in the tire pumping ritual.

Two of the weekend's organizers: Reyna Franco and Gerry Wendrovsky. "How do you get these things off?"

The church bake sale. A Riders eating already.

Karen Reich leads her group to the next eating destination: Herb & Liane's place, 2 miles away.

Picnic tables, a lake, great weather, what more could you ask for?
