Kathy and Rhonda prepare for our hike as the rest of the group exchange their cycling shoes for a more comfortable hiking / walking shoes.

We did a 2 mile hike at the beautiful Running Eagle Falls during the middle of our ride. A trail near the road bridge across Two Medicine Creek is readily accessible and highly scenic.

Trick Falls, one of the many thundering waterfalls of emerald glacier lakes to be seen on this hiking trail.

We saw a Bald Eagle in flight near Trick Falls. The abundance of wildlife had us feeling like pilgrims in this vast wilderness.

Time to head out: the group prepares to depart as we head back to Glacier Park Lodge after the hike.

The great thing about heading back is it’s all DOWNHILL from the hiking trail to the Glacier Park Lodge.

Arriving back at the Glacier Park Lodge.

We all gathered for a cocktail reception at the Lobby Lounge after the ride. That's it for Day One.
