Alpe d’Huez (6,102 ft / 1,860 m) awaits. The day begins with a ride along a ridge overlooking the valley far, far below. |
No one spoke on this stretch of road. The breathtaking views and the narrowness of the road (with no guardrails) kept everyone very focused. The road ended up on Alpe d’Huez climb. Most everyone descended to the bottom and then did the entire climb. |
