The NYC Marthon dips ever so briefly into the Bronx.
The Madison Avenue Bridge brings it back into Manhattan.

Riders remarked that the Central Park loop, which many ride regularly,
seemed unfamiliar and so different.
The marathon goes in the opposite direction of everyday traffic and of course
feels new—a whole other park.
In the last mile the Marathon runs along the base of Central Park.
At Columbus Circle the ride comes to an end. The Marathon finishes at Tavern
on the Green, but only official participants are allowed any further.
