Ride submissions (updated January 2010) |
||
|
Please click here to submit a ride. You may submit a ride at any point before your ride, but the earlier the better. It may take several days for the ride to be approved, and advance listing gives your riders a better opportunity to plan ahead. All submitted rides require approval by the respective Ride Coordinator (A rides are approved by the A Ride Coordinator, etc.) Be sure to include any items that you require such as train passes and spell out your cancellation policy if any. Helmets are always required for NYCC rides. Please read our leader guidelines for details on how to handle ride leadership duties. Starting PointsMany rides start at the Boathouse in Central Park, however many other excellent meeting points for rides exist. You may want to consider starting your ride at the GWB, in Queens, the Bronx, or the Path trains and save on those "junk miles." E-ride listingsYour ride, once submitted and approved, will appear in the Ride Listings accessed through the Ride Listing link on the NYCC website. This is a current listing of all approved rides. The Ride Listings are password protected. In addition, if you are able to submit and have your ride approved by Friday evening of the week before your ride, it will also be posted in the e-weekly distributed to the NYCC members. Certain, but not all, rides will also appear on the home page of the NYCC website. Ride coordinatorsA Rides: Adrienne Browning Sign-in formsPlease print out this sign-in form to take along with you.
