Route over High Bridge at Poughkeepsie then rail trail to New Paltz Rd, reverses this on return.

Rail trail/Rosendale Trestle options on return, cue sheet 2: Rt 213, left on Binnewater Rd, 0.9 miles from Cottekill Rd, rail trail/access to Trestle 0.25 miles on right. Follow rail trail south to Rt 299, New Paltz in 7.4 miles. Plus options to get back onto start of Springtown Rd/Rt7 just after trestle, rail trail cafe stop: http://www.railtrailcaferosendale.com

(another 1.3 miles further) where you can stay on rail trail or take East River Rd 0.4 miles and get onto Springtown Rd.
