Heads into the rolling hills of Westchester and Connecticut. Crosses the Kensico Reservoir on Route 22, up into the hills, and down through the winding quiet country roads of Greenwich to the Stamford, CT train station. But does share a number of heavilied trafficked roads.

Original route starts in Central Park, goes over the Madison Ave Bridge and up the Grand Concourse. The RWGPS route has been changed to start at the 207th St Bridge and bypasses the Grand Concourse.
