Most of you have probably read about products containing brown rice syrup having relatively high levels of arsenic.  Cliff bars and gel bloks use brown rice syrup.  I just got off the phone with their customer service and their position is quite disappointing.  They basically suggested they are confident in their product despite the fact that they could not say that they have tested for levels of arsenic in their brown rice syrup since this study was published.

At this point, I'm not confident in continuing to use their products (and unfortunately I have 3 boxes of bars and 1 box of bloks) until they specifically test their products and report levels compared to those products tested in the study (which did not disclose the brands of bars and gel bloks they tested).
